Dental & Oral Checkup

A Careful Checkup. A Clear Understanding. A Decision You Can Feel Comfortable With.

A dental checkup should be more than a quick look at your teeth.

At Oraclyne Advanced Dental & Oral Care, we believe a good consultation begins with listening — understanding what brings you in, what you are experiencing, and what concerns you may have. Our approach is calm, thorough and patient-centred, with the aim of helping you understand your oral health clearly and make decisions with confidence.

Thorough Examination, Not Just a Quick Look

Every checkup begins with a careful clinical examination of your teeth, gums, bite and overall oral health. We look for existing problems as well as early signs of conditions that may not yet be causing noticeable discomfort.

Where required, dental X-rays and other diagnostic information are carefully analysed alongside the clinical findings. We do not rely on a single observation. We bring together the examination, your symptoms, relevant history and diagnostic findings to arrive at a considered diagnosis.

We Explain Everything in Simple, Patient-Friendly Language

Dental terminology can often feel confusing or intimidating. We believe it shouldn't.

Once our examination and analysis are complete, we explain our findings in simple, understandable language — what we have found, why it matters, what may happen if it is left untreated, and what options are available.

You should never have to agree to a treatment simply because you were told that you need it.

Your Treatment Plan Is a Two-Way Conversation

Your treatment plan is not a decision made for you — it is a decision made with you.

We take the time to discuss the available options, their benefits and limitations, expected outcomes, approximate treatment timelines and costs. We also listen to your priorities, concerns and practical considerations.

You are always part of the decision-making process.

Sometimes the best approach may be to treat a problem immediately. Sometimes monitoring it may be appropriate. Sometimes there may be more than one reasonable treatment option.

Our role is to help you understand those choices clearly so that you can make an informed decision that feels right for you.

Honest Dentistry. Without Fear or Pressure.

We believe dentistry should never be driven by fear.

There is no fear-mongering, no pressure to accept unnecessary treatment and no unnecessary prescriptions. We recommend treatment when there is a genuine clinical reason for it, and we explain that reason openly.

Our philosophy is simple:

No unnecessary treatments.
No unnecessary prescriptions.
No confusing explanations.
No hidden surprises.
Just honest, transparent dentistry.

Fair Pricing & Clear Treatment Quotes

We believe financial clarity is an important part of ethical dental care.

Before proceeding with planned treatment, we explain the expected costs and provide a clear treatment quote wherever applicable. We aim to keep our pricing fair and transparent, so that you can consider your treatment options without uncertainty about what you are being asked to pay for.

A Calm, Warm & Human Consultation Experience

We understand that visiting a dentist can make some people nervous — especially when they have been living with pain, have had an unpleasant dental experience before, or are simply unsure about what they may be told.

That is why we focus on creating a consultation environment that is calm, composed, warm and respectful.

We listen without judgement. We answer questions patiently. We explain rather than intimidate.

Because behind every dental problem is a person — with their own worries, circumstances, expectations and emotions.

You deserve to be heard before you are treated.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I book a dental consultation?

You can request an appointment in whichever way is most convenient for you:

  • Phone: Call the clinic directly.

  • WhatsApp: Send us a WhatsApp message to request an appointment.

  • Website: Use the appointment request form on our website.

Our team will help you find a suitable appointment time.

Is an appointment necessary before consultation?

We strongly recommend booking an appointment before visiting.

Appointments help us plan adequate time for each patient and allow us to provide a more comfortable consultation experience with zero waiting time wherever possible.

Walk-in consultations may not always be possible depending on the day's schedule.

Will I be charged a consultation fee on every visit?

No.

The consultation fee is charged only on the first visit.

Following the first consultation, the prescription provided is considered valid for 2 months for that patient, so a separate consultation fee is not charged for every visit during that validity period, subject to the nature of the visit and treatment.

Will I have to decide on treatment during my first consultation?

Not necessarily.

Your first consultation is an opportunity to understand your oral health, diagnosis and available options. We believe treatment decisions should be made after you have had the opportunity to understand your condition and discuss your options comfortably.

Will I be recommended treatment even if I don't need it?

We believe in need-based, ethical dentistry.

Our approach is to recommend treatment based on genuine clinical findings and your individual needs — not to create unnecessary fear or encourage treatments that are not required.

Will my X-ray be explained to me?

Yes.

When X-rays are required, we carefully analyse them together with your clinical examination. We explain the relevant findings in simple language so that you understand what we are seeing and why it may or may not require treatment.

Can I ask questions during my consultation?

Absolutely.

Your questions are an important part of the consultation. We encourage you to ask about your diagnosis, treatment options, alternatives, expected results, risks, duration and costs.

Good dentistry is not just about treating teeth. It is about helping people understand their oral health and feel confident about the decisions they make.
